People who lied when asked questions by the protagonists, Cole Phelps & Jack Kelso. Those people are classified as the "Liar". They had at least lied once while being questioned during the events of L.A. Noire by either being doubted ("Bad Cop" on the remaster), or needing to show proof that they lied by selecting "Lie" on the original versions, and "Accuse" on the remaster.
