In the Patrol case Buyer Beware, Everett Gage was murdered by Edgar Kalou by shooting Gage in the back of the gun 5 times because he hated Jews like Kalou and said Kalou's jewels were trash. Gage then collapsed on the sidewalk in front of the store in front of Clovis Galletta, the shoe salesman here. Upon hearing the gunfire, patrol officer Cole Phelps immediately rushed to the scene to investigate the incident. By taking the testimony of Galletta and Eagleson's Gun Store's owner, Andrew Fickman, Phelps and officer Ralph Dunn came to Hartfield's Jewelry Store to arrest Kalou.
