Tomoko Okamoto is a character in L.A. Noire. She is a person of interest in the DLC Arson case Nicholson Electroplating.

Biography[]

Background[]

Tomoko Okamoto worked at the Nicholson Electroplating Plant as Harold McLellan's research assistant, who was developing a new chemical process to polish aluminum. However, Okamoto was actually an industrial spy working for Lockheed, one of the competitors for the new process and worked alongside another unnamed Lockheed employee. She learned of McLellan's decision to sell the process to Howard Hughes hence used a portable spy camera to take pictures of the aluminum polishing patent, as well pictures of several people of interest.

Unfortunately, while testing the new process at Nicholson Electroplating with McLellan, a massive explosion occurred, and Okamoto's accomplice was murdered by Vernon Mapes, preventing them from successfully stealing the formula for Lockheed.
